Two ragged figures walk through snow before a church with lit stained-glass windows. One uses crutches; the other is barefoot. They do not seem to see the glowing window promising warmth and shelter. Material hardship, the feeling of being shut out, the cold of exposure when you forget that doors remain open.

The sign (upright): Material difficulty or a feeling of lack. It may be a real financial loss, a lean period, or a sense of exclusion from work, love, or community. This card recognizes the cold without minimizing it. But it also points to the lit window: help is available. Not all is lost. The two figures are not alone; they keep each other company in the cold. Seek support. The church is open even if you cannot see it. This lack is not permanent. This winter will pass. Port exists even when fog hides it.
